Almost Ready

With just hours left before we start this incredible walk along the length of the California Coast, the anticipation and excitement is building. Although I have 3 major long distance hikes under the belt, this one feels very special in many ways. Is it because this will be the first major walk for my wife Melody? (by the way, this was Melody's idea) or is it because we really need this time together, as a couple, to reflect on our lives? Or is it because I really desire to fall deeper in love with the woman that 10 years ago said "I Do!"      The answer is yes to all 3.
